WHO WE ARE

Our Philosophy

Norman & Kim Morgan are the founders and owners of Work of Art Kennels located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. WOAK was founded in 2021 with one goal in mind, to protect and produce a well bred quality Giant Schnauzer that match AKC Bred Standards with exceptional temperaments, good health and great working dogs. We will strive to better our breed with continued health testing and education.

The Giant Schnauzer is one of the most beautiful breeds in our world, yet unrecognized in most cases. It is our desire to help maintain the breed as it is supposed to be in hopes they don’t end of being breed by backyard breeders who will create their own unrecognizable dogs. Please take this all important time to educate yourself about the breed before choosing your Giant Schnauzer.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is very simple, precise, and goal oriented. Without goal your mission can be well defined, as well as being properly executed.

*Work of Art Kennels would like to teach as many people as possible the Giant Schnauzer as outlined by the AKC.  https://images.akc.org/pdf/breeds/standards/GiantSchnauzer.pdf & http://www.giantschnauzerclubofamerica.com/

*Mentoring is key in protecting and preserving the breed standard. Passing on our skills and knowledge to enthusiastic Giant Schnauzer lovers, will indeed preserve the breed as we know it today.

*To raise healthy and well balanced puppies with exceptional temperaments that unsurpassed.

*Attend and participate in America Kennel Club sanctioned confirmation dog shows to advance the Giant Schnauzer breed in the United States

*Identify and expose backyard breeders of the Giant Schnauzer so that the integrity of the gene pool can be strengthened. Backyard breeders certainty do not have the best interest of the breed in mind. They only breed for the money and finally, if we cannot accomplish these goals than we are doing great harm to the breed profess to love, and it is time to stop breeding Giant Schnauzers. One must always have the best interest of the breed in mind to preserve the animals we love so dearly.
